Naples Airport
The airport was built in 1942, and averages over 300 flights operations daily. It houses flight schools, air charter operators, car rental agencies, and corporate aviation and non-aviation businesses.
The airport is also a central location for public services, including fire/rescue services, mosquito control, the Collier County Sheriff's Aviation Unit and other community services. Located in the airport commercial terminal, The Naples Museum of Military History, attracts more than 25,000 visitors annually.
Airport history
Naples Airport started out as a military airfield in 1943. In 1969, the Florida State Legislature created the City of Naples Airport Authority as an independent government agency charged with the operation, development, and improvement of Naples Airport.
Airport location
Located just a few miles from downtown Naples, the Gulf of Mexico, and I-75. General Aviation is located at the North Road Terminal, conveniently located off of Airport-Pulling Road. Renovations to the General Aviation Terminal include an upgraded lobby, expanded passenger lounge, and a marketplace for food and drink. The project will also provide exterior improvements and additional canopies.
